Kim Kardashian use to get media attention as she had a very close friendship with Paris Hilton. Now Kim gets media attention for a whole different reason. Kardashian has been the subject of interest because of a graphic sex tape that depicts Kardashian and her former boyfriend Ray J ( Brandy’s little brother ) doing different sexual acts. Before the release of this sex tape , Kim Kardashian said her inten was to pursue legal action to stop distribution of the sex tape.This was the first time she acknowledged the existence of the sex tape, She had always denied that there was a sex tape. Even though the impending lawsuit, adult retailers started offering the tape for pre-order in February 2007.
On April 30, 2007, Kim Kardashian completed a deal with Vivid Entertainment, who paid over $1 million to an anonymous source for the video. Vivid will hand over nearly $5 million to Kim Kardashian and will try to stop distributing the tape by the end of May 2007. In July 2007 , reports came out that Kim Kardashian would be posing for Playboy Magazine although it has not been confirmed whether or not she will be nude.
